  • He helps us understand the mysteries of God.
  • The Holy Spirit brings us into fellowship.

John 14:16-17 “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.”

  • Jesus promises the Holy Spirit
    1. The Spirit enlarges your faith.
    2. The Holy Spirit enriches you with love.
    3. The Holy Spirit enlightens your perspective.
  • We need to Welcome the Holy Spirit, Call upon Him, and Allow Him to Help us in these areas:
    • Enlarge your Faith
    • Enrich you with Agape Love
    • Enlighten your Perspectives

Acts 2:1-4 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

“The Gifts of The Spirit"

The gifts of the spirit Are the Means THROUGH which God’s Kingdom & Will are done on the earth!

  • “Gifts” / Charisma = literally “Grace gifts” from Spirit/pneuma
  • “Service” / Diakonia = literally “serving” others! from Lord/kurios – Jesus/Son
  • “Working” / Energema = Activities, Administrate from God/theos

The Body of Christ & The Gifts

The manifestation of the spirit

  • “Manifestation” = “Expression/ Exhibition of the Spirit”
  • With each Gift – God Reveals something about Himself
  • VOCAL GIFTS – Tongues, Interp. of Tongues, Prophecy = He cares about us.
  • POWER GIFTS – Healing, Miracles, Faith = He is Mighty!
  • REVELATORY GIFTS – Word of Knowledge, Word of Wisdom, Discerning between spirits – Sees, hears & knows all!

All of man’s problems are based on our wrong understanding of God.

  1. Loving Life, Loving Yourself
    • If you don’t love yourself, nothing works.
    • You have a relationship with yourself.

    • No matter how bad you have got it, it could be worse.
  3. Our steps are Lord Ordered
    • Psalms 37:23 The steps of a man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.
      Pro_16:9 In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.
  4. Our Purpose: To Obey God.
    • Ecclesiastes 12:13 Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of every human being.
